Mounier & Bouvard Jewelry
Take advantage of your stay at the Villa Blanche to discover the collection of jewelry Mounier & Bouvard, a prestigious house icon of Moroccan jewelry since 1929, of which Riad Villa Blanche is a depository.
It was at the end of the 1920s that the diamond jeweler Hugues Mounier left France to found a workshop in Casablanca which quickly became renowned. His son Henri Mounier took over the business in 1950 and joined forces, in the 1960s, with the jeweler Jehan Pierre Bouvard.
The precious ornaments from the collection have now taken their place in their display cases on permanent exhibition and sale, enhanced by the enchanting setting of our Riad.

Work of 2 artists from Marrakech, this technique of working with brick is impressive and dangerous because it is done without formwork, shoring or keystone! This achievement is one of the prides of the Villa Blanche.
The patio
In the spirit of traditional moroccan and colonial residences, our Riad is organized around a patio and its fountain, a privileged place for meetings and exchanges welcoming its guests around a cup of tea or an assortment of cocktails.
The alcove
The discreet alcove of the patio once again illustrates moroccan talent: this cocoon nestled on the edge of the patio was created by 2 craftsmen in one month. The ceiling is engraved on site, in the raw plaster. This work requires attention to detail, delicacy and patience due to the absence of the traditional aid of a mold. No two identical creations exist. Its unique side adds to the charm of this cozy space at the Villa Blanche.
