A RIAD IN AGADIR

The Riad Villa Blanche opened in February 2011. Setting, panorama, architecture, crafts, design, here is the story of his birth in some images…

A glimpse of moroccan art

The dome overlooking the staircase of the Villa Blanche. Work of 2 artists from Marrakech, this technique of working brick is impressive and perilous because it is done without formwork, shoring or keystone! This achievement is one of the pride of Villa Blanche.

In the spirit of traditional moroccan and colonial houses, our riad is organized around a patio and its fountain, a privileged place of meetings and exchanges welcoming its guests around a teapot or an assortment of cocktails.

The discreet alcove of the patio illustrates again the moroccan talent: this cocoon nestled on the patio was made by 2 artisans in 1 month. The ceiling is engraved on the spot, in the plaster in the raw state. This work requires meticulousness, delicacy and patience due to the absence of traditional help from a mold. There are therefore no two identical creations. Its unique side adds to the charm of this cosy space of Villa Blanche.
