Agadir
The Kasbah
In the heights of Agadir, accessible by cable car (also on foot, by bus, or by taxi), you will discover the history of the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella, an old fortress overlooking the city that was destroyed in the earthquake of February 29, 1960, and recently renovated. The new buildings are inspired by ancestral techniques and meet earthquake-resistant standards thanks to wooden beams positioned in a staircase within the dry stone walls. You’ll see the giant inscription “God, The Fatherland, The King” (الله، الوطن، الملك) on the hill and enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
Starting in August, the Agadir Reconstruction Museum opens its doors to the general public, offering the city a space dedicated to the memory of this historic tragedy. Housed in the former Bank Al-Maghrib building, which withstood the 1960 earthquake, this emblematic project is a key element of the Agadir Urban Development Program 2020-2024.
The Marina

Souk El Had

Quad or buggy ride
